1st Time Swimming At The Pool

Yesterday was Amelia's first time to go swimming at our community pool. Last year we went swimming on the 4th of July but she was in my big stomach so I don't think she fully appreciated the pool. We bought Amelia a ladybug swimsuit back in January and were finally able to make use of it. She looked so adorable. We were even able to buy her a ladybug swim floatation device that she sits in so we didn't have to hold her the entire time. We went to the pool in the evening around 6:30-7:00pm. The weather was nice and warm. Amelia wasn't too sure about getting in the pool at first because it was kind of cold. She really loves bathtime at home so I wasn't too worried about her liking the water. I think she just likes the warmer bath water a bit more than a cool pool. The pool has a few waterfall sprinklers and Clint took her under them. She didn't like when the water hit her in the face a whole lot but she would open her mouth like she was trying to catch the droplets in her mouth. She also enjoyed sitting on the pool steps. When I was holding her and she was sitting on the steps, she would hit both hands into the pool and make big splashes. When Clint took her in the water on her stomach, she would sort of kick her legs and splash her hands in the water. I think Amelia enjoyed to water quite a bit considering it wasn't the warmest water. We will definitely go back when the water is warmer and go for a dip.
